Activities for the under 4s

Little Stars Drop-In

The Little Stars Drop-In is open three times a week:

  • Tuesday 9.30 - 10.55am & 11.10-12.30pm
  • Wednesday 1.30 - 3.30pm
  • Thursday 9.30 - 12.30pm

It is open to all children under the age of 4, together with parents and carers who wish to come and have fun with other people from in and around Kentish Town. Sandy Ritchie and Nuru Keba - the Drop-In team - ensure that everyone is made to feel welcome and that the children have lots of play which helps them to develop their physical, social and emotional skills.

The Little Stars Drop-In has high-quality toys and an outside play area, where children are able to experience outdoor play in a safe and secure environment!

The Under-4s Drop-In is funded by SureStart and has regular visits from professionals who offer fun and informative sessions around healthy eating, dental care advice, employment and housing advice, and welfare rights advice sessions.

Kentish Town Toy Library

Opening times:

Monday 10am - 12.00pm & 1.30pm - 3.00pm

The Kentish Town Toy Library works in the same way as a regular library, with toys instead of books! Parents become members for £1 and can borrow toys for up to 3 weeks.

Toy libraries encourage play and learning, social development, parenting skills, a meeting place for local families and sharing of local information and access to other self-help groups.

The Kentish Town Toy Library is managed by Lydia Storan.
