The strength of KTCC comes from the talent and goodwill of its members and volunteers.

Membership

We are a membership organisation, but membership is free and lasts two years. By becoming a member you’re showing support which helps us fundraise. You’ll be eligible to vote at AGMs. We will also keep you updated on activities taking place at the centre.

Volunteering

Our community events and activities are always a collaborative effort made possible through the time and energy of the people who use the centre.

Many find volunteering affords them greater employability in the job market. Volunteering Case Studies

A number of local people, associated with the centre, provide complimentary therapies, yoga, gardening and cookery sessions free to their neighbours while others volunteer their incredibly valuable time in reception.

Every week, Alan teaches basic computer skills on a one-to-one basis and gets an enormous sense of well being from it. One of his students, Khadija, a mother of four, now helps other women whose first language is Arabic, using the skills he has passed to her.
